📋 Description

• Plan, schedule, and conduct onsite visits • Complete reports that help customers evaluate risk • Identify business operations, construction materials, fire protection systems, and safety measures • Develop recommendations related to safety and loss control • Represent Verisk and its customers professionally by phone, in person, and through written correspondence • Produce accurate, customer-centric reports meeting data quality standards • Visit commercial properties and evaluate business operations and site conditions across multiple insurance coverage lines • Gather onsite observations and translate them into risk insights supporting underwriting, pricing, loss prevention, and safety practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience; preferred fields include Risk Management and Insurance, Construction Management, Property and Liability Insurance, and Safety • Preferred experience may include insurance loss control, underwriting or claims, commercial building construction, compliance or property inspections, fire safety, and industrial safety occupations • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills • Ability to write concise and informative reports to quality standards • Strong proficiency with laptops, mobile devices, MS Office suite, and mobile applications • Working aptitude for functional math involving square feet, perimeter, and percentages • Self-motivated planning and goal-setting skills • Ability to route, schedule, document, and conduct site visits efficiently with minimal direct supervision • Ability to record and observe details and measurements, gather data, map, and travel between sites • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions; walk, stand, climb stairs, drive for required periods, and occasionally use ladders • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policies • Ability to undertake overnight travel in and out of state subject to business needs • Ability to assimilate, learn, and apply training material through virtual or in-person classroom instruction, recorded media, and on-the-job field mentoring • Distraction-free remote work environment with available high-speed internet connection • Primary residence in the vicinity of the posted city or territory • Professional designations such as CFPS, CSP, ARM, ALCM, NFPA, and/or CPCU are a plus
