📋 Description

• Assist clients with billing and statement problems • Research and apply daily checks to accounts • Post wires when directed by the Manager • Download lockbox files and data from banks daily • Complete reconciliations as needed • Work with clients, brokers, and TPAs on billing, statement, and eligibility issues • Research, reconcile, audit, resolve, and adjust account balances • Prepare statements for mailing via USPS or emailing in PDF format • Manage ad hoc billing in NetSuite and track/apply received funds • Support collections activities by contacting past-due accounts by phone, mail, or email • File monthly statements • Establish Billing Department work procedures and processes • Maintain and support SOC-related control activities and retain evidence • Communicate with clients and staff in a courteous, professional, and timely manner • Multi-task and handle a variety of tasks while meeting departmental standards

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent • Proven experience in Accounting – Accounts Receivable and Collections • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, databases, word processing, and spreadsheets • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately • Ability to coordinate, track, and efficiently organize multiple tasks/projects • Ability to follow complex directions • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision • Ability and willingness to travel as required • Must comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and company data security guidelines • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds • Regular reliable attendance is required
