📋 Description

• Build and maintain core platform infrastructure for engineering teams • Drive and participate in solution architecture and delivery across diverse domains • Develop, enhance, and operate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, reusable patterns, and automation solutions • Design standardized, reusable cloud infrastructure patterns and templates while maintaining security and compliance • Promote software delivery practices focused on fast feedback, observability, and operational excellence • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on cross-functional projects • Evaluate standards and practices, identify gaps, and improve Development, Security, and Operations practices • Provide status updates, documentation, knowledge sharing, and technical collaboration • Understand engineering needs, refine requirements, and deliver developer-productivity solutions • Work with emerging technologies around AI, MCP, and RAG • Monitor and optimize cloud spend through cost governance and right-sizing • Maintain SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs and improve service reliability and uptime • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and conduct design reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, focused on Infrastructure as Code • Minimum 4 years of experience managing and maintaining Linux systems • 3+ years of Python experience for automation and scripting • Practical experience using Git and automated workflows • Familiarity with AWS security best practices, including DNS, secure VPCs, and database security (PostgreSQL, MySQL) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed-systems issues across networking, compute, storage, and application layers • Experience with packet captures, log analysis, performance profiling, and diagnosing intermittent production failures • 3+ years of hands-on Terraform experience, including module development, state management, and multi-environment workflows • Knowledge of networking fundamentals: VPCs, load balancers, DNS, CDNs, service mesh, and network troubleshooting • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK stacks • Incident management experience with PagerDuty, on-call rotations, and post-mortem culture • AWS certifications are a bonus • Container security and orchestration knowledge is a bonus • Fundamentals of running AI-related services are a bonus • Open-source or internal platform-tools experience is a bonus • Experience with multi-account AWS strategy, chaos engineering, and platform-as-a-product tools is a bonus
