📋 Description

• Own and execute the enterprise data strategy aligned with company priorities, product strategy, and technology roadmaps • Lead the Data as a First Class Citizen initiative and establish operating models, standards, investment priorities, and measures • Identify high-value data opportunities and translate strategy into sequenced roadmaps • Define and report enterprise data health and value measures • Lead data engineering, integration, analytics, business intelligence, AI engineering, MLOps, and data product capabilities • Develop trusted metrics, analytical models, dashboards, decision-support products, and governed data products • Build data and platform foundations for AI-powered products, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and generative AI • Establish standards for model and prompt lifecycle management, evaluation, monitoring, human oversight, and MLOps/LLMOps • Create a federated data governance model and oversee catalog, glossary, lineage, quality, access, retention, and issue management • Partner with security, privacy, compliance, legal, product, engineering, and business leaders • Manage objectives, service metrics, budgets, vendors, and capacity plans; communicate progress, dependencies, and risks to executives • Lead, recruit, develop, coach, and retain a multidisciplinary organization • Set goals, manage performance, delegate effectively, and build an inclusive culture

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience across data engineering, analytics, and data platforms • 8+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and leaders • Proven track record delivering production AI/ML capabilities, including data readiness, AI governance, access controls, audit trails, and MLOps/LLMOps • Experience defining and executing an enterprise data strategy or broad data transformation with measurable business outcomes • Strong hands-on data engineering background • Experience with modern cloud data platforms, data modeling, Kafka, schema registries, APIs, integration patterns, testing, observability, and production operations • Experience leading analytics and business intelligence capabilities, governed metrics, semantic models, dashboards, experimentation, or advanced analytics • Experience establishing data governance, catalog, lineage, quality, access, ownership, and stewardship practices • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgets, vendors, investment tradeoffs, and capacity planning • Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical topics to executive, business, customer, and technical audiences • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience (preferred experience and qualifications) • Reliable internet access for remote work • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including occasional international travel
