📋 Description

• Deploy, integrate, and initially configure new security solutions and enhancements to existing solutions • Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity products, processes, attacks, and threat vectors • Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to improve enterprise security • Review cloud, on-premises, and end-user system configurations and recommend security improvements • Monitor in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operation • Review and interpret logs and reports from security tools, workstations, servers, and network devices • Respond to tickets involving security concerns, vulnerabilities, and end-user issues • Participate in investigations of problematic activity • Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits • Maintain secure configuration baselines using frameworks such as CIS and CSA • Maintain operational configurations according to established baselines and industry best practices • Provide on-call support for end users for security solutions • Partner with AppDev to identify and remediate application vulnerabilities • Participate in planning and designing enterprise security architecture • Help create enterprise security policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures • Participate in planning and designing business continuity and disaster recovery plans • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Proven analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Keen attention to detail • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment • Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices • Experience with AWS IAM, infrastructure, security services, logging, and other serverless services • Familiarity with AWS Security Hub • Experience implementing security controls and system configurations for AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft AD, and Linux • Working technical knowledge of cloud and SaaS security solutions and tools • Familiarity with DevSecOps, Application Security, or secure software development lifecycle methodologies • Some scripting experience with bash or Python • Familiarity with threat modeling methodologies • General knowledge of NIST, CIS, CSA, and ISO27000 security frameworks and controls • Some experience with security systems and tools including Firewalls, WAF, SIEM, SOAR, MDR, IAM, PAM/PIM, network packet sniffers, Nmap, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management tools, SAST/DAST, and Burp Suite • Some experience with encryption, antivirus/malware, penetration testing, and source code scanning • Basic understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and other network administration protocols • College diploma or university degree in Cybersecurity or another computer technology degree and/or two years equivalent work experience • One or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified Associate level certification, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD), CompTIA Security+, or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) • 2+ years of technical experience in cloud, application, infrastructure, and/or network security • 1+ year of experience with AWS • 1+ year of experience with cloud-based security technologies • 1+ year of experience with Linux operating systems
