📋 Description

• Responsible for the availability, performance, and operational integrity of Immense Studio's game platform and production infrastructure • Own the reliability, availability, and performance of Immense Studio's game platform across all environments • Establish and monitor service level objectives (SLOs) and key reliability metrics • Maintain rigorous oversight of platform health through proactive log analysis, database monitoring, and environment management • Lead incident response for platform and production issues • Own and evolve the studio's CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation • Drive the adoption of infrastructure-as-code practices • Manage integrations with casino operators, aggregation platforms, and third-party Remote Game Servers (RGS) • Plan and execute platform upgrades and framework improvements • Lead, develop, and grow the SRE function within Immense Studio • Conduct resource planning to ensure the team has the capacity and skills to meet studio delivery goals • Act as a technical escalation point and coach for engineers • Work closely with backend developers, game engineers, QA, and the mathematics team

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience • Strong proficiency in Python and solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database management • Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tooling • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop people and build a high-performing technical function • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal; comfortable engaging with both technical teams and external partners • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, system observability, and monitoring best practices • Hands-on experience with Linux-based infrastructure, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based environments • Proven experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role, with at least some leadership or management responsibility
