📋 Description

• Lead the introduction of agentic AI development practices to fundamentally change how the engineering organization produces software • Own the AI-assisted reverse engineering of the legacy platform to accelerate its rewrite into the modern Asgard architecture • Champion and mandate the adoption of AI across the entire development lifecycle • Define and execute the technology strategy and multi-year engineering roadmap for VikingCloud • Lead the continued development of the Asgard platform • Make critical architectural decisions to decompose legacy systems and build a modern platform architecture • Transform today's manual QA and deployment processes into a fully automated, rapid-release engineering engine • Build a metrics-driven engineering culture from the ground up

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience in operating roles at technology or SaaS companies • 8+ years in senior engineering leadership (VP of Engineering, CTO, SVP of Engineering, or equivalent) • Direct hands-on experience with modern agentic AI development tooling (Claude, Cursor, Kiro, GitHub Copilot, MCP-based integrations, or equivalent) • Demonstrated experience using AI to reverse-engineer legacy codebases • Experience leading engineering organizations of 150+ engineers across multiple geographies • Explicit experience owning a multi-geography operating model with India as a substantive footprint • Deep hands-on architecture experience, including leading large-scale platform modernization efforts • Proven track record executing major cloud infrastructure migrations and consolidations
