📋 Description

• Build, deploy, and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure • Implement and support routing, switching, and overlay technologies including BGP, VLANs, STP, QoS, and EVPN/VXLAN • Manage Palo Alto firewalls across all VIP locations, including datacenter, cloud, and international sites, covering BGP, ACLs, and security policy • Design and support cloud and hybrid connectivity, primarily in AWS, as well as Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean • Design and lead network architecture initiatives that meet business requirements and industry standards • Automate configuration and monitoring using tools such as Arista CloudVision and Ansible • Plan and implement network changes across test and production environments under formal change control • Monitor and respond to network and security alerts • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures • Mentor junior team members and serve as an escalation point for complex network issues • Work closely with DevOps, IT Security, Systems, IBM i, Middleware, Operations, and Support teams to maintain reliable, secure, high-performance connectivity for beverage distributors, suppliers, and retailers

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent certifications and experience accepted) • 7+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments • Solid understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and security protocols such as IPsec, SSL/TLS, 802.1X, and RADIUS • Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting routers, switches, enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto & Cisco preferred), and wireless systems, including network monitoring and event management tools • Hands-on cloud networking experience, including virtual networks, routing, security groups, VPN, and dedicated cloud connectivity • Experience with network scripting and automation, such as Ansible or Python • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent certification is a plus! • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus! • Full-time job offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
