📋 Description

• Own Vitable’s financial model, board narrative, and operating rhythm for close, cash, and capital • Build and own the company model, including partnership economics and unit economics • Inform pricing and growth decisions through strategic financial analysis • Prepare board slides, board data packs, and investor updates • Clarify and defend calculation methodology and movement of money between entities • Lead the move toward consolidated board reporting using Coefficient • Prepare financial materials for the Series B and manage diligence requests • Oversee company equity and the cap table • Own monthly gross margin analysis, including TPA fee corrections • Partner with accounting advisors and leadership on revenue, ARR, and gross-margin treatment • Manage cash across operating accounts, anticipate funding needs, confirm payroll coverage, and manage the end-of-month cash sweep • Own the relationship with Graphite, the outsourced accounting partner, and evaluate alternatives • Review closed books and oversee corporate tax filings prepared by the outside firm • Manage and develop a Controller and Financial Analyst • Set priorities, maintain schedules, manage the WTI relationship and monthly reporting, and run the biweekly Finance Call • Report to the Chief of Staff and work directly with the CEO and leadership team

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading finance at a company of similar size, or experience in investment banking or a similar transaction-focused role • Strong financial modeling skills and judgment to explain and defend assumptions • Fundraising or transaction exposure, including diligence and investor requests • Ability to turn financial analysis into a clear story for executives, board members, and investors • Sufficient accounting fluency to review closed books, ask sharp questions, and catch issues before they reach leadership • Careful planning and follow-through, especially when cash movements and deadlines matter • Clear communication, sound judgment under pressure, and discretion with sensitive financial information • Genuine interest in Vitable’s mission of making healthcare simple, human, and accessible • Experience with treasury, multi-entity accounting, outsourced accounting partners, healthcare or employee benefits, recurring revenue metrics, or people management is valuable • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Ramp, Mercury, Slash, or Coefficient is helpful • Core hours aligned to U.S. Eastern time
