📋 Description

• Provide intensive evidence-based individual and/or group therapy and crisis intervention for incarcerated individuals experiencing severe mental health crises • Develop and implement specialized treatment and/or behavioral management plans for high-risk individuals with severe mental illness • Write clinical reports and participate in meetings • Train MDOC and VCHS staff on managing mental health crises, de-escalation techniques, and suicide prevention • Perform in-depth psychological evaluations for individuals presenting with acute psychosis, severe mood disorders, or active suicidal ideation • Administer evidence-based suicide risk evaluations, assessments, and protocols • Collaborate and consult with psychiatrists and other licensed mental health professionals • Engage in other clinical activities designated by the Regional Behavioral Health Director and Chief Psychologist

• Must be licensed in the state of Mississippi • Pay based on licensure and years of experience
