📋 Description

• Clean and sanitize the facility, materials, and processing equipment • Follow Vital Farms policies, procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements • Report conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety • Operate sanitation equipment and safely handle chemicals • Clean spills, processing areas, entrances, facilities, and break rooms • Clean and stock footbaths and hand-washing stations • Manage egg washer water changes, run CIP circuits, and assist in cleaning processing equipment • Titrate chemicals and ensure appropriate levels at chemical mixing stations, dispensers, material washers, and CIP circuits • Maintain egg waste using Egg Press equipment in accordance with SOPs • Audit equipment and supplies and communicate replacement or reorder needs • Operate lab equipment and perform timely testing to prevent downtime and processing delays • Obtain certification to operate a scissor lift or pallet jack • Help with special projects and other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of sanitation or manufacturing experience • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions • Must be able to speak, read and write in English for safety and quality reasons • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds • Able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time • Good manual dexterity working with hands to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls • Able to work safely around moving mechanical parts • Able to work safely in wet conditions • Must have good math and computer skills • Able to work without direct supervision
