📋 Description

• Optimize transportation and warehousing for capital equipment and DCFC network service parts • Lead efficient logistics operations for the national DC fast charging network and direct-to-consumer Electrify Home chargers • Manage fulfillment and reverse logistics, including warranty returns, service, and RMAs of failed parts • Develop annual operating budgets and establish strategic logistics objectives and goals • Manage three large-scale third-party logistics providers, including shipment planning, execution, and warehousing • Lead and develop a team of 4 direct employees and 20+ indirect logistics professionals • Plan and execute company-wide logistics operations across 10 warehouse locations in the USA and Canada • Report supply chain analysis, cost, inventory, and logistics performance KPIs to executive leadership • Track transportation market trends and identify corporate, industry, and regional issues requiring cross-functional strategies • Develop supply chain technology solutions to improve transparency and efficiency • Implement strategic initiatives to achieve lowest total cost of ownership and annual savings targets • Direct strategic 3PL operations, conduct quarterly business reviews, ensure contract compliance, and manage supplier performance • Lead the cross-functional Inventory Review Committee and drive year-over-year inventory reductions • Lead logistics quoting and budgeting for commercial proposals and Consent Decree projects • Ensure equipment traceability through cycle counts, receiving processes, and audit-compliance practices • Support invoice receiving and payment processes • Prepare quarterly forecasts and budgets for supply chain expenses • Report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related area • Bachelors Degree • Leadership and team management skills • Communication skills – interpersonal, oral and written • Vendor and supplier performance management against contracts • Ability to perform complex analytical assessments • Influencing and negotiation skills • Complex problem solving & independent decision making • Resource management • Autonomy and initiative • Strong computer and software skills • High attention to detail • Demonstrated record of precision & integrity in past work assignments • Extensive experience in global logistics and supply chain management • Proven experience leading logistics teams and initiatives • Leadership experience in leading and developing supply chain personnel • Subject matter expertise on logistics and inventory management • Expertise in global and domestic shipping (all modes- ocean, rail, truck, LTL, parcel) as well as import & export experience • Experience with budgeting and financial modeling methods & business case creation/presentation • Proven experience with financial and inventory audits, accounting, and reporting • Experience managing and negotiating contracts • Experience in effectively managing vendors and subcontractors • Understanding of project management techniques and methods • Experience implementing and managing a third party logistics providers (3PL) (desired) • Experience with SAP (desired) • ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 knowledge (desired) • MBA (desired) • Willingness to travel occasionally 1 to 2 times per month
