📋 Description

• Lead data science product development and set standards, best practices, and innovation for the data science CoE • Experiment with, build, and integrate data science solutions into core business processes and new opportunities • Define and continuously improve the machine learning environment • Develop and deploy AI models that impact business decisions • Establish best practices and governance routines for model management, peer reviews, privacy, ethics, and bias compliance • Bring relevant data science techniques, algorithms, and tools to the team • Provide technical oversight, assistance, and mentorship to junior data scientists • Apply model testing and tuning techniques to assess accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness • Innovate new ML methods and drive change throughout the business • Contribute to code documentation and maintain playbooks • Provide timely progress updates • Generate compelling hypotheses to drive new business creation • Collaborate with different business units to co-create solutions and optimize strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research or similar quantitative field • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research or similar quantitative field • 12+ years of data & analytics work experience with 8+ years in data science • 7+ years utilizing methods and tools to extract, curate, explore, and analyze data from large data sources • 7+ years developing, integrating and deploying machine learning solutions into business decision-making processes • 7+ years leveraging algorithms, tuning parameters and back-testing validation • 5+ years leading ML project development • Thorough knowledge of machine learning models, including traditional ML and GenAI • Extensive experience with model evaluation, A/B testing, and causal analysis • Experience researching new data sources and analytical tools, contributing to application development, and improving data quality • Ability to collaborate with product owners and managers to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions • Ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical users in written and verbal form • Participation in E-Verify and pre-employment substance abuse testing
