It ingests and organizes large volumes of transaction documents (PDFs, Office files, emails, KMZs, etc. ), extracts and links material data points back to source documents, and accelerates due diligence for buyers, sellers, sponsors, lenders, and advisors. Vor emphasizes enterprise-grade security (AES-256, TLS, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 in progress), supports project- and portfolio-level workflows across M&A and various financing structures (project finance, tax equity, cash/preferred equity), and differentiates itself from traditional virtual data rooms by combining secure storage with intelligent analysis and collaboration tools.

📋 Description

• Architect core AI reasoning systems and agentic workflows for complex regulatory, financial, and spatial analyses • Build multimodal intelligence pipelines on Modal using OCR and VLMs • Extract critical information from scanned leases, permits, and engineering schematics • Integrate validation and evaluation frameworks into high-stakes workflows • Own AI-powered features end to end, including models, backend workflows, and customer-facing interfaces • Collaborate with the early AI team on model strategy, agentic systems, data architecture, foundational pipelines, and product direction and execution

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping production-grade LLM systems • Deep experience in agentic orchestration, including multi-step planning, tool-use loops, and self-correction • Expert-level Python skills • Full-stack product experience connecting AI workflows to APIs, databases, and user-facing interfaces • Ability to turn messy, unstructured legal, financial, spatial, and conversational data into structured insights • Strong focus on observability, evaluation, reliability, and understanding non-deterministic system failures • Clear communication skills and ability to work autonomously within a small, fast-moving founding team • Experience with geospatial data, GIS tools, or mapping libraries is a bonus • Experience adapting or fine-tuning open-source vision or language models is a bonus • Experience with document-heavy domains or high-stakes financial/legal data is a bonus • Experience with Modal, GPU-backed inference, or serving infrastructure such as vLLM is a bonus • Experience building user-facing products with React and TypeScript is a bonus
