📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution for AWS cloud migration and network modernization initiatives • Own delivery of large-scale cloud migration and modernization efforts • Coordinate cloud engineers, network architects, and security teams to design and implement secure AWS network environments • Coordinate hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS GovCloud • Drive schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across complex multi-account AWS environments • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans • Plan and execute data center-to-cloud cutovers, sequencing network, security, and application dependencies • Manage communications with government program offices, including status reporting, risk assessments, and issue escalation • Track risks, issues, and action items and drive mitigation strategies • Ensure deliverables and processes meet federal security requirements • Manage project scope, change control, and documentation • Facilitate agile ceremonies and traditional milestone reviews • Support budget tracking, resource allocation, and invoicing coordination • Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports for government stakeholders and VSO leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in project management, focused on IT, cloud infrastructure, or network modernization programs • Experience managing large-scale AWS cloud migration or modernization initiatives • Experience with hybrid on-premises to AWS GovCloud environments • Experience coordinating cloud engineers, network architects, and security teams in a matrixed program environment • Working knowledge of VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity • Track record managing project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and stakeholder communications on federal or DoD programs • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code delivery practices, Terraform or CloudFormation, is a plus • Experience with agile and traditional/waterfall project management approaches in a federal contracting environment • PMP certification preferred, not required • Top Secret clearance required • Ability to travel every 1-2 months • U.S. citizenship required • Excellent written and spoken communication skills • Ability to work independently and value teamwork • Excellent problem-solving skills
