📋 Description

• Define and execute Engineered Systems commodity strategies • Manage supplier performance, supplier relationships, commercial agreements, and supply-base risk • Develop supplier market intelligence and raw-material strategies • Build, qualify, develop, rationalize, and manage the supplier base • Lead supplier performance reviews and improvement initiatives • Develop annual commodity budgets and forecasts • Monitor producer price index trends and savings opportunities • Lead RFQs, proposal evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection • Manage frame agreements, off-cycle contracts, and serial-life contracts • Optimize purchase-order payment terms and support payment-process automation • Support project buyers with approved supplier lists and sourcing guidance • Lead contracting activities for new suppliers • Participate in Project Sourcing Committee reviews and validate supplier selections • Drive sourcing competitiveness, re-sourcing, continuous improvement, cost savings, and supply-chain optimization • Resolve escalated supplier performance, quality, delivery, and commercial issues • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, project sourcing, operations, and strategic suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in sourcing, procurement, program management, or supply chain • Minimum of five (5) years of strategic sourcing experience • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% • Mechanical engineering and/or similar technical degree preferred • Strong financial, quantitative, and data analysis capabilities • Familiarity with sourcing and procurement systems • Ability to communicate complex and straightforward concepts concisely and logically • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
