📋 Description

• Provide remote genetic counseling to patients throughout the United States • Conduct pre-test counseling and discuss genetic testing results • Counsel patients primarily regarding hereditary cancer risks • Clearly explain complex genetic information in an understandable and compassionate manner • Support patients in understanding testing options, potential outcomes, and next steps • Collaborate with genetic counselors, medical geneticists, and other healthcare professionals • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and enhance the overall patient experience • Contribute to educational and research initiatives as opportunities arise • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional patient documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree in Genetics or Genetic Counseling – Required • Board Certification through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) – Required • Strong communication and patient counseling skills • Ability to provide high-quality care effectively in a remote environment • Experience with hereditary cancer counseling is highly desirable • Multi-state genetic counseling licensure is preferred but not required • Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
