📋 Description

• Reconcile ledgers against custodian / bank statements • Isolate and explain every residual difference • Produce the signed-off reconciliation with adjusting entries • Attribute NAV movements • Flag components outside tolerance • Write variance commentary • Investigate trade breaks between two systems • Identify root causes and classify breaks • Propose fixes and draft investigation narratives • Process corporate-action events and compute entitlements per account • Handle payment / transfer exceptions by repairing, returning, or escalating them • Match messy merchant / vendor descriptors to a canonical registry • Complete self-contained operations exercises from mock files and produce analyst deliverables graded against a rubric

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in fund administration or investment operations (fund accounting, reconciliations, corporate actions, trade support / middle office, or payment operations) at a fund administrator, custodian, asset manager, or bank ops • Hands-on experience with reconciliations, NAV, trade breaks, corporate actions, or payment / settlement exceptions • Strong Excel skills • CPA or IOC is nice to have • Familiarity with fund-accounting systems (SS&C / Geneva / Multifonds / InvestOne) is nice to have • Familiarity with SWIFT / settlement systems is nice to have • Complete the assessment: a ledger-vs-custodian reconciliation that must tie out; a NAV variance attribution; a trade-break root-cause analysis and narrative • US-based work authorization/residence requirement
