• Develop and lead enterprise network strategies across existing and emerging markets • Support market expansion efforts by designing strategies aligned to growth plans and local market dynamics • Assess and monitor network adequacy and ensure timely access to high-quality providers, specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services • Identify network gaps, access barriers, and market-specific needs and develop strategies to address them • Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive market conditions • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of network strategy and contracting professionals • Provide strategic guidance and operational support to regional and field-based team members • Foster collaboration across Finance, Analytics, Operations, clinical leadership, Compliance, and growth teams • Lead outreach and complex negotiations with hospitals, health systems, large physician groups, and strategic provider partners • Explore innovative contracting approaches tied to participant access, care coordination, medical record retrieval, quality performance, and operational responsiveness
• Candidates MUST be located and residing in the State of California • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in provider network strategy and managed care contracting • Experience leading negotiations with hospitals, health systems, and large provider organizations • Knowledge of network adequacy standards, provider operations, reimbursement methodologies, and value-based care models • Demonstrated success building provider networks across multiple markets or regions, with a focus on California • Experience within Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, PACE, or value-based care environments • Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members • Strong leadership experience managing high-performing teams in a matrixed organization • Proof of vaccination, or a vaccine declination form, required prior to employment
