📋 Description
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care remotely through a secure telehealth platform • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments • Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care • Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications as clinically appropriate • Monitor treatment effectiveness and make appropriate clinical adjustments • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation • Coordinate care with therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate • Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to promote continuity of care and positive patient outcomes • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with California licensing requirements
🎯 Requirements
• Active, unrestricted California medical license (MD or DO) • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program • Minimum of one year of clinical experience practicing as a Psychiatrist • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management • Experience treating adults and/or children and adolescents • Appropriate DEA registration and prescribing authority • Comfortable providing psychiatric services through telehealth • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills • Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team • Commitment to maintaining consistent patient availability • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is highly desirable
