📋 Description

• Coordinate authorization requests from intake through final payer determination • Assign cases to clinical reviewers and monitor progress through completion • Submit authorization requests and supporting documentation to payers • Answer inbound calls and provide front-line support for the team • Maintain accurate records and ensure all information is documented appropriately • Support process improvement initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned • Serve as a central point of contact between hospital clients, payers, physicians, and clinical reviewers • Ensure authorization requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines • Deliver exceptional customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • 0-2 years of relevant work experience • Experience in a healthcare or healthcare operations environment preferred • LPN, Medical Assistant (MA), or other clinical licensure/certification preferred • Knowledge of medical terminology • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products • Customer service experience • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time • Applicants for U.S.-based positions with WellSky must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire • Certain client-facing positions may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunizations and occupational health mandates
