📋 Description

• Serve as a mentor, role model, and facilitator providing guidance and academic support to students • Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the teaching/learning process • Apply skills and experience to the assigned teaching schedule • Participate in assessment activities for courses, curricula, and programs • Contribute to continuous improvement plans • Improve class materials and syllabi within shared governance processes • Use varied teaching methodologies to facilitate student learning outcomes • Maintain scholarly activities • Participate in professional growth and service • Advance student success as healthcare professionals • Leverage technologies and resources such as Simulation and Innovation Labs • When working in clinical settings, assume responsibility for students, clarify expectations, direct clinical preparation, assess student knowledge and skills, facilitate conferences, and provide performance feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint • Experience working with online learning management systems • Compliance with state, federal, and local laws/regulations and state Board of Nursing standards • Minimum of five years of prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care • Minimum of three years of experience in the field taught • Education and experience must align with state regulations and state authorization agency rules • MSN required • DNP or PhD required • Professional nurse licensure required
