📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive, practical legal advice and risk-informed guidance across the full project lifecycle • Support APX commercial operations through drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial, financing, strategic alliance, customer, supplier, teaming, joint venture, engineering services, and feasibility-study agreements • Advise internal clients on complex commercial agreements and related legal issues • Represent Westinghouse in commercial negotiations and disputes • Work with internal clients, in-house colleagues, external counsel, utilities, project developers, construction partners, vendors, and other stakeholders • Supervise and manage external counsel • Train and advise management on legal issues, compliance, and risk mitigation • Travel domestically and internationally as required • Support governance requirements, internal approval processes, and compliance with laws and regulations • Engage specialists to mitigate legal risks associated with new reactor development • Remain current on legal developments and provide updates to clients

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school • 5-10+ years of experience representing clients in complex industrial/construction/procurement contract negotiations or high-value major project litigation matters • Experience providing legal advice on commercial business issues related to mega-project contract negotiations • Admission to practice in an appropriate US jurisdiction • Experience developing high-quality legal documents, including commercial agreements, letters, external correspondence, and memoranda • Foreign language skills preferred • Prior in-house experience preferred
