📋 Description

• Assist in monitoring system reliability and performance alongside senior engineers • Shadow team members during incident response, triage, and root cause analysis • Write basic automation scripts to reduce routine operational tasks • Learn and apply best practices in system design, maintenance, and change management • Follow established processes for testing and service deployment • Participate in team learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions • Support foundational reliability practices for highly available WEX services • Gain exposure to incident management and resilient, scalable systems

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, and system troubleshooting • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Basic experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI • Awareness of cloud computing concepts, including AWS, Azure, or GCP • Good understanding of version control systems, including Git • Familiarity with developing AI-based solutions • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
