📋 Description

• Record financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles • Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items • Prepare and enter journal entries and audit journal entries and accounting classifications • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, amortization and depreciation schedules, and other financial reports • Prepare ad hoc reports • Analyze financial reports and records and make recommendations regarding account reserves, assets, and expenditures • Answer general ledger account-related inquiries or route inquiries to the appropriate department or associate • Analyze operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenue and expenses • Resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies or anomalies in complex research/data • Provide general guidance or training to junior-level support or professional personnel • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline • Generally 2–5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2–4 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 1–3 years of capital or fixed asset accounting experience • Strong Excel and data analysis skills • Curiosity and initiative to identify, develop, and implement process automation and efficiency improvements • Experience with Oracle, Sage Fixed Assets, Alteryx, or Power Automate is a plus
