They offer agent-facing resources, carrier partnerships, and customer-facing quoting and claims support aimed at streamlining the insurance purchase and claims process and improving service quality and turnaround times.

📋 Description

• Configure rates, rules, and forms in the policy administration system (PAS) under supervision • Monitor the Operations helpdesk, triage and escalate requests, and perform level-one helpdesk support • Respond to technical assistance requests in person, by phone, or electronically • Understand business and regulatory requirements before making PAS configuration changes • Review and evaluate business systems and user needs • Make approved PAS configuration changes and test functionality • Fix product-configuration defects found during testing • Perform peer reviews and quality testing of configuration changes • Document requirements, use cases, and user stories • Maintain knowledge-base documents • Write and execute test plans and test scripts • Follow code-deployment best practices using local repositories and pull/push/merge workflows • Maintain records in JIRA, service desk, and Confluence • Generate routine project status reports for management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in an area of study with analytic emphasis, typically math, computer sciences, or accounting • Proficient in MS Office products • Experience with Microsoft Office products • Prior experience performing analytical or quantitative activities in spreadsheet/database software applications • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Permanent U.S. work authorization required • Employer sponsorship is not offered now or in the future • Familiarity with insurance, insurance products, rules, and methodologies preferred • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle preferred • Solid understanding of the Duck Creek Author tool preferred
