📋 Description

• Help the Awards Management team review and manage terms and conditions for potential opportunities and awarded grants and contracts • Ensure proper management of and compliance with awards funded by private philanthropy foundations, corporations, and foreign governments • Support workflows for assigned awards to ensure compliance with award terms, applicable regulations, and Winrock International policy • Research and interpret award compliance requirements and advise Awards Management on appropriate solutions • Develop guidance documents and other compliance tools • Provide guidance and identify improvement areas to ensure consistent award functions across the global organization • Coordinate development, review, and revision of award documents and support negotiations of award terms • Prepare and deliver award briefs advising on compliance requirements • Create sub-agreement templates that comply with funder requirements • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and solutions to program staff • Stay current on industry changes through resources, publications, and continuing education • Provide training and refresher sessions on relevant topics • Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the international development donor landscape • Ability to interpret diverse donor regulations, assess contractual risk, and develop practical compliance solutions • Experience managing awards funded by private foundations and corporate donors • Experience negotiating and administering grant agreements • Experience ensuring donor compliance and supporting reporting requirements • Experience managing amendments and advising project teams on philanthropic and corporate funding requirements • Knowledge and experience with foreign government and multilateral development bank and international organization funding regulations • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and contractual requirements for the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations agencies, Green Climate Fund, Global Environment Facility, and other international financial institutions
