• Provide technical advisory services to food, land, and agriculture sector clients on GHG measurement and monitoring, climate mitigation and adaptation strategies, and regenerative agriculture • Track the status and direction of key standards such as the GHG Protocol and SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard • Track and manage technical advisory requests on emissions and regenerative agriculture work • Develop knowledge products and training aligned with industry standards • Conduct research and prepare presentations, reports, memoranda, and communication materials • Collaborate with small teams, provide guidance and leadership, and prepare high-quality products • Support workplan development and new business proposals • Conduct qualitative technical analyses, quantitative problem-solving, and quantitative data collection and analysis • Complete tasks in a fast-paced, self-motivated environment
• Bachelor’s degree in international development or an environment-related field required • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in climate change adaptation/mitigation/resilience and GHG accounting for land use required • Industry/sector understanding of GHG profiles and potential mitigation strategies for relevant commodities • Working understanding or experience preparing submissions or reporting against GHG Protocol, Science-Based Targets Initiative standards, or Value Change Initiative • Experience managing GHG accounting projects in agriculture and forestry • Experience leading or supporting new business development efforts • Strong analytical capability and problem-solving abilities • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking • Ability to manage project operations, workflows, deadlines, multiple tasks, and pressure • Understanding of carbon quantification methodologies, sustainability product certification standards, carbon credit project development, and GHG monitoring, reporting, and verification • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Professional-level oral and written English fluency required • Capability to sit and operate a computer for long periods • Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours • Ability to work from a time zone between Pacific Time and Central European Time
