📋 Description

• Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders • Create and update individualized treatment plans • Meet with patients regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary • Coordinate and arrange services for individual clients • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress • Conduct group therapy sessions according to the program schedule • Involve and advise family members when appropriate • Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary • Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress • Follow safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality • Communicate with outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care • Attend weekly staff meetings to consult on individual cases • Attend weekly treatment team meetings to consult on client progress • Create weekly individualized therapeutic and experiential opportunities • Conduct concurrent insurance reviews for individual clients • Engage in mental health parity advocacy • Participate in community-based speaking opportunities to increase eating disorder awareness • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor • Log direct and administrative hours according to company timekeeping and documentation guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field • Must be fully licensed and able to work without supervision • Able to obtain licensure in other states when asked • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience treating clients with Eating Disorders • Understanding of models and theories of eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and related issues • Knowledge of treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care models for dually diagnosed populations • Understanding of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care • Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to prioritize workload and work independently • Must not be opted out of Medicare • Reliable internet connection • Comfortable operating a computer and smartphone and navigating macOS and iOS applications • Comfortable communicating via chat, telephone, and video calls • Able to sit for the majority of the shift • Must work from a private, quiet home workspace with minimal background noise • Availability must include weekends and holidays as needed
