📋 Description

• Manage and successfully execute environmental site assessments, remediation programs and contaminated site projects • Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules and budgets • Supervise project staff • Conduct quality control of technical correspondence, proposals, technical reports, work plans and project specifications • Prepare cost estimates and budgets • Interpret provincial environmental regulations and investigation results to meet client requirements • Lead pursuits for contaminated sites and related opportunities • Monitor, mentor and lead the growth of junior team members • Provide field coordination and technical oversight of projects • Collaborate with Wood offices and environmental staff on projects • Perform seasonal fieldwork

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution plus appropriate continuing education in environmental science or engineering, geology, soil science or equivalent • Registration, or eligibility for immediate registration, as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag), Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo), or Professional Chemist (P.Chem) in British Columbia • Ten (10) plus years consulting experience conducting environmental site assessments, contaminated site investigations and remediation projects • Two (2) plus years of related project management experience • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Alberta provincial contaminated sites legislation, regulations and processes • Adept in project scope and financial management • Experience supervising and training junior personnel • Strong communication and writing skills • Reclamation project experience is an asset, but not required • Remote site heavy equipment access planning is an asset, but not required • Commitment to technical excellence, sustainable development, diversity and inclusion • Desire to grow in your career with Wood
