📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales support for the development and presentation of Workiva Carbon solutions • Offer technical subject matter expertise to the sales function through architecture presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based messaging • Develop example solutions, prototypes, proofs of concept, and customer-specific business cases • Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and understand prospects’ ESG/Carbon technology stacks, data maturity, and reporting pain points • Execute the pre-sales framework through phone, web, and onsite meetings; drive discovery and identify customer needs • Conduct process assessments and develop new use cases or use existing templates • Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations that validate technical requirements and desired outcomes • Demonstrate expertise in Carbon Accounting and GHG Management processes, requirements, and software • Serve as a trusted advisor to technical buyers during sales cycles • Partner with Product, Climate Consulting, and Product Marketing teams to provide feedback, support feature rollouts, and ensure successful onboarding • Assist sales with account plans aligned to Workiva strategies and objectives

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a related role involving enterprise technology or complex solution sales across large customer accounts • Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience • Experience with EHS, Carbon Accounting, or GHG processes and related technology platforms preferred • Experience presenting to business or IT managers and executives • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement • Proactive collaboration and feedback with product management teams • Ability to solve problems and articulate solutions to business problems • Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures preferred • Ability to gather business needs and present compelling, value-based software demonstrations preferred • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and internal events • Reliable internet access while working remotely • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis • Workiva will not provide visa sponsorship
