📋 Description

• Provide specialized accounting support during the fiscal year-end reporting cycle • Support the Accounting & Reporting team with complex intercompany accounting transactions, reconciliations, and analysis • Establish and maintain accounting records with appropriate supporting material • Prepare and correct general ledger entries and monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals • Ensure company assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from loss • Reconcile complex accounts, bank statements, and intercompany general ledger accounts • Periodically review internal controls • Prepare and provide accounting information and reports • Produce and analyze financial statements and make adjustments for completeness and alignment with contracts, guidelines, and policies • Coordinate problem resolution and provide technical guidance and training to finance staff and customers • Research and recommend new systems and procedures and handle special accounting programs • Participate in collaborative team assignments and perform other duties as assigned • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life and participate in the organization's spiritual disciplines • Incorporate World Vision Core Values into role-related decisions • Develop an understanding of the international World Vision partnership to inform communications, actions, decisions, and solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent work experience (eight years) • Minimum of 5 years of private/corporate accounting work experience; or 2-3 years where work experience includes at least one year in public accounting • Experience with complex bank reconciliations, general ledger, financial statements, and/or government reports • Strong technology skills, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer • Previous nonprofit experience preferred
