β’ Provide overall leadership and oversight support to a global consortium programming in complex and protracted emergencies. β’ Coordinate and collaborate with leaders in other programming teams. β’ Support external engagement efforts with media, communications, and advocacy colleagues. β’ Supervise projects and coordinate specialists within other program teams. β’ Manage strategic reserves to facilitate rapid response to prioritized emergencies. β’ Provide technical expertise, guidance, support, and oversight to field facing programming work for a large portfolio. β’ Ensure that monitoring and evaluation systems are set up, and reporting processes are developed. β’ Ensure effective project management through communication with teams and stakeholders. β’ Lead the close-out process and ensure appropriate documentation is shared.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in international development, business administration, non-profit management or related field. β’ Minimum 5 years of experience serving as Senior Program Manager, Senior Manager, Director or similar for publicly funded large humanitarian programs. β’ Experience managing sub-grants and contracts under grants for complex projects. β’ Experience of leading large and diverse teams. β’ Strong understanding of humanitarian coordination mechanisms and UN cluster framework. β’ Experience leading programs valued at more than USD $20 million. β’ Must be fluent in English.
