📋 Description

• Serve as the primary transformation leader across Finance front-, middle-, and back-office domains • Own and maintain the multi-year Finance Transformation roadmap supporting AI and automation • Lead complex cross-functional programs and projects from concept through hypercare • Partner with process engineers to identify improvements, reduce manual effort and cycle times, and re-engineer finance processes • Translate Finance leader pain points and strategic objectives into actionable technology solutions • Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions across Finance domains • Define target operating models, align solution design, and ensure adoption with Finance leads • Collaborate on data governance, master data management, and data quality standards • Lead AI initiatives including agentic Finance use cases, predictive forecasting, intelligent document processing, anomaly detection, and automated reconciliations • Ensure governance, explainability, and control frameworks for AI and automation • Architect the Finance technology stack for scalability, integration, and resilience • Drive vendor evaluations, RFPs, and assessments for new Finance platforms • Manage strategic vendor relationships and value realization • Partner with architecture, integration, and security teams on standards, data protection, and compliance • Lead stakeholder communications, executive updates, and steering committee forums • Define and track KPIs and benefit realization metrics • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring for 1–3 direct reports • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of Finance operations across front-, middle-, and back-office domains • Strong working knowledge of AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, agentic AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) applied to Finance • Ability to architect and evolve enterprise Finance technology stacks and data architectures • Experience building partnerships with Finance, IT, Data, and business process leaders • Excellent communication and executive-ready translation of complex technology and data concepts • Strategic mindset, systems-thinking, and architectural capabilities • Strong program leadership and measurable outcomes delivery on large, complex initiatives • Attention to governance, data quality, controls, and auditability • Comfort operating in a global, matrixed organization • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort managing ambiguity • 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance systems, or enterprise technology leadership roles • Demonstrated experience evolving finance technology stacks and data architectures for AI and automation • Hands-on experience with core finance platforms such as NetSuite, Certinia, or Concur • Experience leading process re-engineering with process engineers and Finance operations • Understanding of data governance, master data management, data warehouses, lakehouses, and integration patterns • Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing AI-enabled and agentic Finance solutions • Experience developing business requirements and delivering technology solutions across multiple Finance domains • Project management, communication, and executive presentation skills • Ability to work independently and serve as design authority • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
