📋 Description

• Provide management and leadership oversight of assigned Data Management teams and projects for study execution and budget management • Act as the primary point of contact for study-specific internal and external escalations • Represent the company at sponsor governance meetings • Allocate staff to projects according to abilities and competencies • Provide oversight, training, mentoring, and career development opportunities • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and operational or budget risks are addressed • Manage performance-related team-member escalations • Highlight upcoming availability to Data Management leadership to support utilization continuity • Support Business Development through proposal and sponsor-presentation preparation • Participate in sponsor audits, regulatory authority inspections, and third-party meetings • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned Data Management processes when required • Review and improve process effectiveness and efficiency • Provide process-related training and act as a central point of contact for questions • Own quality issues, including root-cause analysis and CAPAs as required • Maintain and update QMDs and other guidance documents • Mentor members of the Data Management department • Lead departmental process-improvement and efficiency initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science or related discipline — or equivalent relevant experience • Minimum 9 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries • 2–4 years of line management experience • Expert knowledge of data management best practices and technologies as applied to clinical trials • Advanced understanding of clinical trial processes and protocol documents, including protocols, statistical analysis plans, CRFs, and study reports • Strong project management skills and experience managing data management teams and projects for operational and budget oversight • Line management experience including recruitment, career development, and performance reviews • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional internal and external teams • Independent analytical and problem-solving skills
