📋 Description

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Debian-based Linux systems in production environments • Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Write and maintain Bash or Python scripts to automate routine operations and improve system reliability • Ensure system performance, availability, and security • Address incidents and resolve issues promptly • Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch • Support containerized environments and orchestration tools including Docker, ECS, EKS, and Fargate • Collaborate with engineering and development teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Maintain documentation and version control using Git • Follow infrastructure and operational best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a similar role • Proven experience managing Debian Linux distributions in production environments • Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CDK • Proficiency in Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages • Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch monitoring and logging • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools including EKS, Docker, ECS, and Fargate is a plus • Comfortable using version control systems such as Git • Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions is preferred • Familiarity with high availability and failover strategies in cloud environments is preferred • Exposure to HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance standards is a plus • Full professional proficiency in communication and documentation • Availability during standard US business hours: 9am–5pm EST or 8:30am–4:30pm EST
