📋 Description

• Support the prime contractor’s Agile Solution Factory for a Customs and Border Protection contract • Serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing software development and maintenance • Deliver releasable software in short sprint cycles • Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions for AI/ML pilot projects and use cases, including Google Gemini AI • Develop and work with RESTful APIs, authentication methods, data formats, and API error handling • Evaluate and select SQL and NoSQL databases based on application requirements • Integrate SQL and NoSQL databases within applications when appropriate • Apply security best practices for SQL and NoSQL databases • Participate in prototyping teams and collaborate to deliver working software applications on short timelines • Analyze complex project problems and create innovative technology, methodology, tool, and solution-component solutions • Participate in agile delivery phases and ceremonies, including release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives • Collaborate with software developers/engineers, stakeholders, end users, and geographically separated teammates

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen • Ability to pass CBP background investigation, including a 3-year check for felony conviction, a 1-year check for illegal drug use, and a 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud • BA/BS and 7 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent • Ability to analyze technically complex problems and develop and implement innovative solutions in a fast-moving software prototyping environment • Expertise in multiple software development languages, including YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript • Full Stack development experience with front-end Angular and back-end development • Ability to handle all aspects of a web application from user-interface design to server and database management • Ability to work with Data Scientist teams to integrate applications with AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutions • Ability to work independently on complex tasks with little direction and management oversight • Desired: experience with live data and video streams • Desired: technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate • Desired: experience with DevOps (CI/CD) solutions such as GitLab • Desired: experience with AI/ML solutions or predictive analytics • Desired: experience working in a geographically dispersed, remote team • Desired: understanding of Data Science principles and best practices
