📋 Description

• Independently draft and negotiate enterprise-level business development and commercial contracts • Architect and negotiate novel AI licensing agreements • Apply deep commercial expertise to align legal solutions with Yelp’s broader business goals • Advance company objectives by actively balancing speed with risk • Demonstrate a strong, self-managing drive to take responsibility • Interact constantly with other departments to execute agreements and advance business development

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and state bar membership in good standing • 8+ years of experience as an attorney (In-house counsel experience is a big plus) • Extensive knowledge of SaaS contract law, IP law, and a comprehensive understanding of privacy and regulatory frameworks including TCPA, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, CIPA, HIPAA, and PCI • A solid, practical understanding of network architecture, APIs, MCP servers, data feeds, apps, databases, clients, firewalls, and data wiping protocols • Proven track record of actively negotiating complex agreements • Strong work ethic, with a team player mentality • The ability to expertly balance speed with risk • High-level accountability with a genuine passion for the field
