📋 Description

• Partner with commercial teams to negotiate, execute, and close deals • Guide commercial teams through the deal lifecycle, from initiating contracts or negotiating NDAs through deal closure • Navigate new problems and develop novel contracting frameworks • Improve processes, efficiency, and best practices • Continue building out the contract management platform • Work with commercial teams to improve forms and processes • Facilitate contract reviews and internal processes • Evaluate and advise on appropriate legal courses of action to meet company and business unit needs

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (JD or equivalent) from a top law school • License to practice and membership in good standing in New York • 3–5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house • Practical knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant to practicing law • Business contract drafting and negotiation experience strongly preferred • Passion for drafting, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts • Stellar attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, think creatively, and handle new responsibilities independently • Market Research/Data Products background preferred
