📋 Description

• Guide commercial teams through the lifecycle of deals, from initiating contracts or negotiating NDAs through closing • Develop contract negotiation and drafting skills to close deals • Navigate new legal problems and create novel contracting frameworks • Enhance legal processes, efficiency, and best practices • Build out the contract management platform • Improve commercial forms and processes • Facilitate contract reviews and internal processes • Evaluate and advise on appropriate legal courses of action to meet company and business unit needs • Partner with commercial teams to negotiate, execute, and close deals

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (JD or equivalent) from a top law school • License to practice and membership in good standing in New York • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house • Business contract drafting and negotiation experience strongly preferred • Passion for drafting, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts • Stellar attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work cross-functionally • Ability to think creatively and handle new areas of responsibility independently • Market Research/Data Products background preferred
