📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of three Compliance Operations Analysts • Own day-to-day compliance review operations across e-commerce and marketplace businesses • Advise on consumer communications and data compliance • Build Yomali’s privacy and security program from the ground up • Conduct data mapping and establish retention policies • Oversee vendors and security questionnaires • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into plain-English guidance for product, marketing, operations, and payments teams • Serve as the primary escalation point for compliance issues at BuyGoods and HelpGrid • Partner with Legal Operations to identify and implement early automations • Stabilize personnel and processes across priority portfolio companies • Develop group-level security and privacy roadmaps • Own consumer regulatory compliance as the primary focus

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on compliance experience • Direct exposure to US and international consumer protection regulation • Experience managing and developing a team of direct reports • Track record of building or evolving a compliance function inside a complex, multi-stakeholder environment • Comfort operating in ambiguity • Sound judgment on when to own a decision and when to escalate • Exposure to privacy and security program-building, ideally including data mapping, DPIAs, vendor risk, and retention policy • Legal degree is not required • Ability to act as a player-manager • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance
