📋 Description

• Coordinate adult engagement within the multi-Region geography on behalf of the VP and in alignment with International Development. • Establish action teams at every team level and lead the Action Team movement for the Multi-Region Geography in South America. • Communicate vision and principles to corresponding teams. • Partner with International Field Development on events and efforts including Walk for Hope, donor engagement, campaigns, local giving initiatives and training. • Take ownership of regional expedition trips, including formalizing processes, filling and organizing trips, and enabling others to recruit participants. • Manage regional-level Adult Engagement and supervise multi-regional Adult Engagement/development where applicable. • Serve as the hub for extra multi-regional Development connections to LA/C. • Schedule meetings, provide notes, and implement regular reporting for staff and donors. • Coordinate and organize donor activities and initiatives. • Develop systems and train staff to track stewardship of major donors, sponsors and campaign stakeholders. • Provide interpretation and translation services. • Maintain donor lists and update YL Connect and Emma donor information. • Ensure regional leaders’ engagement in multi-regional campaigns such as Walk for Hope and Known. • Monitor RCE campaigns for SVP, Campaign Director, ECC and Known Campaign. • Provide donor portfolios through YLSC Development Services. • Provide donor care, including end-of-year giving, Christmas cards and donor thank-yous. • Coordinate and implement development initiatives. • Organize logistics for VP adult engagement trips to the US and South America. • Accompany multi-regional leaders on donor engagement visits to the US and other multi-regional countries. • Maintain corresponding Field lead donor weekly agendas. • Identify and develop staff and volunteers who contribute energy and resources to fundraising. • Plan and execute regional initiatives from launch through campaign completion. • Coordinate major donor engagements throughout the region and participate as appropriate. • Provide major gift follow-up and fund accountability. • Use Development tools and systems including Workday/Budget and YL Connect. • Track regional expedition trips and follow up with donor invitations. • Establish yearly measurable goals and metrics for gift commitments, proposals, qualified prospects and prospect meetings. • Implement strategic initiatives directed by leadership to grow or improve the Expeditions platform. • Raise personal support, reach 100% of the personal support goal, and steward Mission Unit expenses. • Attend all team meetings.

🎯 Requirements

• Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith. • Employees must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. • Employees must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith and required staff policies. • Must be ready, willing and able to fulfill ministry functions as required. • Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from Young Life’s biblical standards. • Extensive Young Life knowledge. • Able to carry out the duties of the position. • Able to give spiritual leadership. • Able to effectively manage the operational aspects of a region-wide office. • Able to work effectively with all field staff and their supervisors. • Able to work effectively as a team member with Development Services staff. • Able to manage confidential and sensitive information. • Proficiency in Excel or other reporting applications, with ability to become proficient in ASIST, Workday and other Young Life-owned applications. • BA degree preferred.
