📋 Description

• Develop a yearly personal growth plan involving solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and understanding God’s Word • Participate actively in a church community and Young Life’s spiritual community • Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development • Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership • Recruit and train new leaders and build a representative leadership team • Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping • Attend and participate in area leadership activities as assigned • Raise financial support and maintain donor-care practices • Communicate ministry updates and progress to personal donor partners • Assist with camp fundraisers and attend occasional committee and adult functions • Participate in contact work, Young Life club, Campaigners/discipleship ministry, and camping strategy • Potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff at a Young Life property • Follow Young Life policies and procedures and maintain professionalism • Set and review yearly ministry and personal goals • Assist with office administration when assigned • Complete expense reports accurately and promptly • Perform other duties assigned according to gifts, experience, and area needs • Complete required regional training events at the regional director’s prerogative • Work under the area director or assigned mentor • Receive individualized training focused on spiritual maturity, character, and ministry skills • Become familiar with area strategy and ministry health

🎯 Requirements

• Must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord • Must subscribe to Young Life’s Statement of Faith and required staff statements and policies • Must be ready, willing, and able to fulfill required ministry functions • Must refrain from conduct and statements that detract from Young Life’s biblical standards • Must abide by all Young Life policies and practices, including those related to religious belief or ministry activities • Pursuing a college degree • Proven relational skills with both kids and adults • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality
