📋 Description

• Ensure all scientific field methods and sampling are being performed to the highest standards. • Support daily field operations, including the operation and maintenance of vehicles, UTVs, and light mechanical equipment and tools. • Safely, efficiently, and independently mobilize to remote field locations and collect high-quality data. • Work effectively in challenging and variable environments, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and other demanding conditions.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S. • Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the past three years. CDL is preferred, and will grant an automatic pay increase. • Strong commitment to personal and team safety. • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and professionalism. • High degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in small, remote teams. • Willingness to commute long distances (300+ miles) and participate in extended field rotations (14 days). • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions at a fast operational tempo. • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field from an accredited institution preferred. • Physically able to perform strenuous tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure safe and effective performance of duties. • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, with experience operating and maintaining field vehicles and equipment. (Large diesel trucks, UTVs, and trailers). • Skilled in GPS use and navigation in remote environments. • Proficient with computers, especially within the Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Directories). • Maintains clean, orderly work practices and good housekeeping standards.
