📋 Description

• Lead preparation, review, and analysis of journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules • Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities • Identify root causes of variances and resolve discrepancies • Recommend process improvements • Analyze trends and key drivers in assigned accounts • Prepare summaries and explanations for management reviews and internal reporting • Collaborate with Strategic Finance, Tax, Treasury, and business partners • Provide accounting insights and answer operational questions • Support system and process changes by defining accounting requirements, testing outcomes, and validating data integrity • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, controls, and documentation • Optimize and automate accounting processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field • 5+ years of professional accounting experience in public accounting, industry (technology, advertising, media), or a mix • Active CPA license strongly preferred • Experience performing and reviewing period-end close activities and variance analysis in a high-volume or multi-entity environment • Experience with modern ERP and financial systems • Experience with Alteryx Designer or Databricks • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini in accounting and/or finance environments • Advanced Excel skills and aptitude for working with large datasets • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and outstanding attention to detail • Ability to prioritize conflicting responsibilities and independently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven organization
