📋 Description

• Complete field inspections, including reading maps and aerial photos and measuring fields and storage bins • Discuss crop-loss findings with farmers on complex, non-routine, problematic, and controversial claims • Explain complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people • Perform fact-finding regarding crop damage and transmit loss information to determine potential indemnities • Gather relevant facts, apply applicable law, and establish basic principles of negligence • Complete claim reviews and audits on lower-level adjusters as assigned • Maintain working knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures for legal compliance • Contribute to team projects and related results as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent • 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire • Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong organization and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Experience as a Crop Claims Field Adjuster preferred
