📋 Description

• Determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts using applicable procedures • Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable claim coverage and whether losses fall within coverage • Participate in Risk Management Agency-initiated reviews and referrals for operational integrity and quality assurance • Keep claims information confidential to protect Zurich’s reputation • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities, industry-trend awareness, personal networks, and professional societies • Travel within the assigned territory and, for the Crop Claims Specialist level, outside the assigned territory as needed • Participate on CAT teams and provide remote assistance for CROP Claims Care Center calls and/or CCP Claims

🎯 Requirements

• Claims Crop Field Adjuster I: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more months of experience in the agricultural area • Crop Claims Specialist: High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the agricultural or the crop insurance industry • Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire date • Reliable/personal transportation • Travel within assigned territory; Crop Claims Specialists may travel outside assigned territory to assist with workloads, participate on CAT teams, and provide remote assistance • Walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles • Climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet • Lift 25 lbs to 50 lbs • Work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills • Strong organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills • Employment sponsorship is not offered
