📋 Description

• Process and report claim information received to insurers • Obtain and analyze insurer loss run reports for claim reviews • Monitor large claims and suits and notify the manager of significant losses • Respond to insureds', insurers' and claimants' questions and assistance requests • Communicate with the Claims Manager regarding significant requests, problems and missing information • Maintain electronic account files and use the agency management system in daily workflow • Prioritize workload to meet objectives and request management assistance when necessary • Comply with quality program requirements and agency and department procedures • Maintain confidentiality when collecting, maintaining and disseminating sensitive information, including PHI • Maintain, develop and pursue technical knowledge through educational opportunities • Maintain regular and consistent attendance • Complete special projects and other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver's license • Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license, or willingness to pursue • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Experience with agency automation software; Applied Epic preferred • Proficiency in word processing and typing • Strong respect for confidentiality • High school diploma or equivalent • Two (2) to four (4) years of commercial and/or personal insurance experience • Direct commercial and/or personal claims experience preferred
