• Provide support to ADD customers and field personnel for high-complexity instruments • Perform onsite instrument and assay integration and training • Troubleshoot and resolve instrument and reagent problems onsite or by phone • Document complaints and information in the complaint handling system • Interact frequently with customers onsite and remotely • Participate in customer touchpoint teams for account management and customer satisfaction • Make reagent-utilization and product-replacement decisions affecting the US annual supply budget • Conduct customer entrance interviews to understand needs and verify expectations • Assist customers with regulatory and validation requirements • Customize onsite training to customer needs • Manage integration processes to customer expectations and timelines • Conduct exit interviews, present integration results, and ensure customer satisfaction • Investigate problems, diagnose causes, eliminate alternatives, provide solutions, and document findings • Maintain technical competence on assigned instruments, tools, and processes • Follow TAS procedures for integrations, complaint, time, activity, and TOR documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a laboratory environment, field service, technical support call center, or working with Abbott Diagnostics products, assays, or instruments • Must currently live in the San Francisco Bay area or Salt Lake City, Utah area • Easy access to a major metropolitan airport • Ability to travel up to 90% • Ability to support regulatory and validation requirements • Ability to troubleshoot instrument and reagent problems • Ability to follow defined TAS work processes and documentation procedures
