📋 Description

• Lead day-to-day Scrum activities including planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives • Review user stories, lead work breakdown and estimation, and negotiate solutions with Product Management • Own small to mid-sized engineering/QA projects or product areas • Define and oversee test automation and quality delivery for the squad • Review teammates' work and identify architectural or testability changes • Troubleshoot and reproduce customer-found issues • Integrate AI and Generative AI tooling into QA processes • Apply AI tools to test generation, test data generation, defect triage, documentation, and test maintenance • Architect and implement UI visual regression testing integrated with CI/CD • Establish DORA metric reporting, targets, dashboards, and improvement initiatives • Develop reusable automation components, standards, documentation, and quality plans • Support build, deployment, and monitoring processes with focus on security, performance, and scalability • Mentor QA practice and collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, SRE, platform, frontend, and design teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software QA Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience) • 6+ years of software development or SDET experience with a strong automation focus • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for test automation, tooling, and framework development • Strong understanding of unit, integration, and load testing • Full life cycle system development experience • Experience with ALM tools such as JIRA, version control, work item tracking, and continuous integration • Hands-on REST API testing experience • Strong knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies • Familiarity with SQL databases and queries • Experience with exploratory testing and CI/CD tools • Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools applied to software engineering or QA workflows • Experience implementing UI visual regression/comparison testing frameworks in CI/CD pipelines • Experience leading or contributing to DORA metrics measurement and improvement • Experience testing microservice-oriented and distributed systems with fail-safe requirements • Experience with shift-left and shift-right testing • Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability, security, reliability, and non-functional testing • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and influencing skills
